How do I determine pound weight and dimensional weight?
First weigh the package and round up to the nearest full pound. This will give you pound weight. Then measure the height, width and length of the package/box in inches. Multiply the length by the width, then multiply their total by the height. Then divide the final total by 166. (L x W x H divided by 166 = DW) The resulting number will give you the dimensional weight.
What is a “PreAlert”?
A PreAlert is an e-mail sent to PTY600@Yahoo.com for each package. Always send the following package information by e-mail with name and PRE ALERT in the subject line:
1. Contents
2. Value of contents
3. Tracking number(s)
What ground transportation in the US do you recommend for sending packages to the Miami address?
UPS ground is recommended because of availability of locations, and use of tracking numbers with receiving signature.
How long will it take for my mail and packages to arrive?
The containers spend about seven to ten days in transit. Usually we can deliver regular mail in about fifteen to twenty days.

What items are not allowed in a household goods container?
Alcohol, firearms, plants, fruits and vegetables, corrosives and flammable materials are not allowed in shipping containers. If there is a question about other items please call or write and ask to be sure.
What is the maximum weight allowed?
Maximum weight is 44,000 pounds.
How can I get an estimate on shipping my household goods?

A standard container has inside dimensions of 7’8” or 2.33m in width, 7’10” or 2.38m in height. The door is 7’8” or 2.33m in width and 7‘6” or 2.28m in height. A 20’ container has 19’4” or 5.59m in length and a 40’ container has 39’5” or 12.01m in length.
